The car collided with the divider and the bike collided, the rider died on the spot

The incident took place near Hotel Manipal on the National Highway when the driver lost control and a car hit the divider and collided with the bike.

Sunil (24), a resident of Vijayapur, died unfortunately. Another rider, Manjunath, a resident of Bagalkote, was injured and is undergoing treatment at the hospital.

A car going from Bahamavara towards Mangalore hit the divider. After this, the accident happened because it fell on the bike which was traveling on the adjacent service road.

Car driver Manjunath was seriously injured. At present, he is being admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A case has been registered at the Udupi Nagar Traffic Police Station.
